As the newest addition to the Signalysis team, Luke is working hard to get his feet under him and jump into action. He has a mechanical engineering background and experience in the manufacturing industry. Luke will be helping our customers to implement SigQC software. Let’s learn a little more about him with four quick questions.
Can you tell us a little about your background?
I attended St. Xavier High School and then went on to the University of Cincinnati where I studied Mechanical Engineering Technology. I’m a lifelong resident of Cincinnati, my sister and I grew up on the west side of town. If you know anything about Cincinnati, then you know that’s a big deal!
What attracted you to come work for Signalysis?
The interview process seemed to really be focused on how I could help Signalysis and how they could help me grow as an engineer. Careers are a two-way street and their interest in helping me to achieve my professional goals was very important to me.
What’s something that you’ve learned during your short time at Signalysis?
I’ve learned how vibration is something that can be used to help a variety of different applications. I have also enjoyed seeing the different companies Signalysis interacts with and how we’re helping manufacturers to meet their high quality standards.
What’s something about you that not many people know? Any interesting hobbies or special talents?
My favorite hobby has always been music. I always enjoy listening to something old or new. A variety of music interests me and it would be hard to pick favorite genre. I was in a band in high school and even though we do not play shows anymore we are all still very close friends.
