Brake System Quality Inspection
Suppliers must be certain that products meet customer expectations and rigid industry quality standards. This is especially true for automotive brake system suppliers. Signalysis quality inspection test solutions provide objective, automated 100% inspection.
Brake Rotor Quality
Our Brake Rotor/Drum Test System is designed to operate manually or integrate into your production line. This proven test system combines traditional NVH laboratory spectral and modal analysis methods to deliver confidence to your manufacturing floor. Test results can be passed to on-line statistical control systems.
Brake Pad Quality
Brake pad defects can include cracks in the friction material, friction material not properly bonded with the metal backing, chips, and more. Our Brake Pad Quality Inspection Test Systems include visual or laser profiling inspection to identify abnormalities such as material buildup, small chips, scratches, missing clips, damaged shim defects, etc. This also includes reading codes and lot numbers.
Signalysis’ Robert Cagle has authored and presented papers on brake pad quality testing. Watch this short video to learn more about Signalysis brake pad quality inspection solutions.

Case Study: Medical Equipment
Regardless of size or type, there is no margin for error when it comes to product performance and quality. Noise and vibration of medical devices plays a huge role in patient annoyance, safety, and surgeon comfort.
Consider the case where noise from a defective part or bearing provoked a patient into moving during x-ray scanning. The result is a second dose of radiation just to get the picture right.
Quality Magazine Article: Eliminating Quality Testing Subjectivity
When it comes to product quality, there’s no place for guesswork, subjectivity, or trial-by-error engineering. Objective quality testing is rooted in science and generates results that are measurable, consistent and repeatable.
Suppliers and manufacturers throughout a variety of industries rely on Signalysis quality inspection test systems to ensure that every part that goes out the door meets the rigid quality expectations of their customers.
