Welcome the Team
We’re pleased to announce that Konnor Barnes has joined the company as an Electrical & Controls Engineer. Konnor lends his expertise to any electronics related tasks, including creating schematic drawings and wiring machinery for projects.
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Konnor studied Electrical Engineering Technology. His education included time with Signalysis as a co-op. Welcome aboard Konnor!
Signalysis Welcomes our Newest Co-Ops!
Signalysis proudly supports co-operative education. Eash year we provide students with practical hands-on experience. This allows them to put theory into practice while interacting with customers and co-workers.
Our 2023 summer interns include Rose-Hulman University’s Peyton Miller, along with the following students from the University of Cincinnati: Freddy Mazza, Kenechukwu Onaga, Mike Gabski, and Phil Nolette.
Click on their individual links to read more about each of our co-ops.
Case Study: Epinephrine Injector
Sudden allergic reactions can be life-threatening; and treatment must be administered immediately and properly. Often used to treat severe cases, the epinephrine injector is a medical device for administering a dose of adrenaline by means of auto-injection technology. Proper use of the pen is guided by a series of audible beeps and scripts, supported by circuit board technology.

Tech Tip: Calibrating an Accelerometer
If you want to ensure that you’re getting good data its important to calibrate your accelerometer. This can be easily overlooked but is critical in order to ensure the sensor performs according to the specification.
This Tech Tip describes the process to calibrate an accelerometer. Find more Tech Tips like this here.
Run for the Poor
Once again, Signalysis (along with Sonny Marie’s gluten free bakery) was a proud sponsor of the SVDP Run for the Poor. Proceeds from this event help fund the St. Martin Council of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
The council serves our needy southwestern Ohio neighbors in Adams, Brown, Clermont, Clinton, Highland, and Warren counties.
Mark this on your calendar and come join the Signalysis team next June!
