DC Motor Test System
The Signalysis DC Motor Test System is based on more than 30 years of experience and combines traditional NVH laboratory modal analysis, sound quality, gear testing, and motor dynamics test methods. The result is 100% inspection confidence to your manufacturing floor.
The Signalysis DC Motor Test System replaces subjective tests with advanced vibration, sound, motor current and travel velocity algorithms and metrics. This turnkey assembly line test station has proven invaluable for DC motor verification – either stand-alone or as a part of sub-assemblies.
This test system provides manufacturers and their customers with the quality advantage needed in today’s competitive markets. Data is acquired using one of the supported acquisition systems, analyzed and compared to acceptable motor performance standards.
- Provides automatic assembly line Pass/Fail results based on mechanical vibration & noise signature.
- Pass/Fail status may be determined from a direct comparison of measured data to a user-defined threshold level.
- Employing advanced analytical methods, the Pass/Fail status may be established by comparing signal processed results to any of a wide range of statistics-based target functions derived from either frequency or time domain.
- Results can be passed on to on-line statistical control systems.
