IQC Sunroof Test System
The Signalysis Sunroof Test System is designed to handle complex & dynamic noise
issues associated with power sunroofs and roll shades. Using motor current and hall effect sensor counts a detailed motion/location event matrix is created that encapsulates customer complaints. This matrix allows unique GO/NO GO metrics to be developed which will result in high customer satisfaction ratings.
The Signalysis Sunroof Test System performs 100% inspection for NVH related defects in sunroofs. The system replaces existing subjective tests with an arsenal of algorithms & metrics to identify quality issues related to performance, vibration, sound and motor current. These test systems combine traditional NVH laboratory test methods for modal analysis, sound quality, gear noise and motor dynamics and implements it on the manufacturing floor.
The Signalysis Sunroof Test System provides manufacturers and their customers with the quality advantage needed in today’s competitive markets. Data is acquired using one of the supported acquisition systems, analyzed and compared to acceptable sunroof standards
- Provides automatic assembly line Pass/Fail results based on mechanical vibration & noise signature.
- Pass/Fail status may be determined from a direct comparison of measured data to a user-defined threshold level.
- Employing advanced analytical methods, the Pass/Fail status may be established by comparing signal processed results to any of a wide range of statistics-based target functions derived from either frequency or time domain.
- Results can be passed on to on-line statistical control systems
